I use characters as one of many tools to shape the experiences I create. They help establish tone, invite curiosity, and make space for joy, reflection, and human connection. No matter which character is present—or if no character is used at all—each experience includes adaptable games, questions, or activities that respond to the energy of the room.
They’re not fixed roles or repeatable acts. Each character adapts to the audience, the environment, and the purpose of the gathering. Think of them as doorways—ways into an experience, not the experience itself.
Zipper creates a playful, open atmosphere where curiosity, creativity, and connection come easily. The energy is light and active—people relax, move around, and feel free to be a little more themselves, whether they’re kids, adults, or sassy grandmas.
Silliness and sincerity live side by side. Star NUT readings are playful but thoughtful, generous with insight, and rooted in shared imagination. Zipper adapts to the moment, helping shift groups from watching to joining in and turning everyday spaces into places where play feels natural and welcome.

The Mad Chatter creates a lively, unscripted atmosphere where nonsense is welcome and curiosity runs the show. Everything becomes fascinating. Language bends, jokes take on surprising weight, and playful intensity keeps people leaning in. Color, wordplay, and quick thinking fill the space, inviting both children and adults to meet the moment exactly where they are.
This is an interactive experience. The Mad Chatter often pulls someone into the fun as a “march hare,” “white rabbit,” or “Alice,” encouraging cleverness, imagination, and confident participation. Even when the nonsense is questioned, it’s met with respect and warmth—leaving people feeling heard, amused, and just slightly convinced that the nonsense might actually make sense.

Gold Fever creates an atmosphere that feels seasoned, curious, and quietly adventurous—like a time traveler with a wink who’s seen a thing or two and enjoys sharing the wonder. Rooted in Dahlonega’s gold lore and history, the energy carries confidence, warmth, and an old-soul charm. While gold and shiny things make an appearance, the real delight comes from noticing talent, cleverness, and good qualities in the people around him.
The experience is attentive and inviting. Gold Fever is naturally aware of boundaries, leaving people feeling comfortable, confident, and genuinely appreciated. Moments of surprise—like the reveal of his well-traveled briefcase—carry a bit of magician’s sparkle and flirtatious fun. Conversations often drift toward Dahlonega, gold, and whatever creative or curious knowledge people bring with them, turning each interaction into the start of a shared adventure.

Bobby Youngblood creates welcoming, playful experiences rooted in presence, curiosity, and genuine connection. Without a character or costume, the atmosphere is still warm, attentive, and lightly imaginative—focused on meeting people where they are and shaping moments that feel natural, human, and engaging.
Whether through conversation, storytelling, or shared exploration, Bobby brings the same care, adaptability, and creative awareness found in his character work. The characters are tools; the experience is the point.

The character "Gold Fever" playfully engages with gold lore, but Planet Acorn respectfully acknowledges that the Georgia Gold Rush led to the unjust removal of the Cherokee people from their ancestral lands. We honor their history and sovereignty.
